Midst COVID-19 Pandemic

Ruth Weiss with Son Alex

Family during Covid

How fortunate I am to be isolated at my writing desk in an old Danish farmhouse. I now have time to reflect on the current state of our world in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nothing is as it was. Our yesterday may never be our tomorrow.

Looking out on the fields and trees around me, I am reminded that the virus knows no borders. This is a time for solidarity, compassion, and reflection. Taking care of me are my son Alex and my grandson. Thinking of all my friends all around the world.
